SDA Breed Assessment 10th April 2010
The Southern Dachshund Association will be holding a Breed Assessment event on Saturday 10th April 2010.
There will be a short seminar beforehand, which will provide an update on the revised Breed Standard and judging responsibilities with regard to health and welfare of Dachshunds. The Breed Council’s written assessment paper can also be taken by anyone who wishes to.
In order to be assessed, you must already have judged a minimum of 150 Dachshunds. If successful, and once you have completed 3 successful assessments and meet all other relevant criteria, you can have your name put forward for the A2 Judging List. Only a few assessment places are still available and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
The venue is The Village Hall, Pirbright, Guildford. (GU24 0JE) This is easy to find, just off the A322 and is a venue already used for dog club events.
Refreshments are included in the ticket price of £15. A comprehensive handout on the Breed Standard will also be provided to all candidates.
The seminar starts at 10:00, with refreshments being served from 09:30.
Numbers are strictly limited, so if you would like to attend, please contact Ian Seath, “Sunsong”, 204 Blind Lane, Flackwell Heath, High Wycombe HP10 9LE. Tel: 01628 529936; E-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org
